Before submitting your mobile phone number, please make sure that your mobile device can receive international SMS. Below are some troubleshooting tips for issues related to mobile phone number validation.
The same phone number has already validated 5 accounts
5 is the maximum number of GateHub accounts that can be validated with the same phone number.
Solution: Use a new phone number to validate your account.
Use of online messaging service
Using online messaging services can result in failed phone number validation.
Solution: Use only messaging services by mobile phone operators or carriers for mobile device users.
Wrong GHV PIN entered
There was an input error and you received an "Error validating PIN" message.
Solution: Make sure you type in the correct GHV PIN.
GHV code has timed out
The GHV PIN via SMS was not received or used in the allocated time frame (GHV PIN is only valid for 10 minutes).
You received an "Error validating PIN" message.
Solution: Resubmit the GHV PIN request and type in the most recently received PIN.
Multiple requests by the user
Multiple codes were sent and not necessarily received. When multiple requests (more than 5) for phone number validation are sent in a small time frame it can result in not receiving the correct GHV PIN or not receiving it at all and the number is temporarily blocked from requesting additional PINs.
Solution: Wait for 2 hours before submitting another request for a GHV PIN.
