A GateHub name is a unique public identifier that works in conjunction with wallets as a destination address to receive funds.
Think of it like Twitter’s @username but for receiving funds instead of messaging. You can share GateHub names if you want someone to send you money. Sharing your GateHub name does not give third parties access to your wallet. It is just more easy way to pass on your destination address.
Whenever someone sends money to your GateHub name it ends up inside your primary wallet. You can select which one of your wallets is primary.
